TAG | The Art Gallery is proud to present Uncharted, a juried exhibition on view at 6 Bridges Gallery in Maynard from July 1 through August 8, 2026. Organized by TAG Gallery in partnership with 6 Bridges Gallery, the exhibition features work selected by juror Michael Rose, Gallery Manager at the Providence Art Club.

Located in the heart of historic downtown Maynard, 6 Bridges Gallery is a respected artist-run cooperative dedicated to exhibiting high-quality contemporary art while fostering creativity, dialogue, and community engagement. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to expanding artistic opportunities and bringing exceptional visual art to diverse audiences throughout the region.

Uncharted explores the spirit of discovery, transition, and creative exploration. Bringing together artists working across painting, sculpture, ceramics, glass, photography, textiles, mixed media, digital art, and conceptual practices, the exhibition examines what it means to venture beyond familiar boundaries, whether geographic, emotional, conceptual, or material.

To enter uncharted territory is to embrace uncertainty with curiosity and courage. The works in the exhibition reflect journeys of transformation, identity, memory, migration, experimentation, and the pursuit of new ways of seeing. Each artist offers a unique perspective on exploration, reminding us that growth often begins where certainty ends.

The exhibition also marks an important milestone for TAG | The Art Gallery as it continues expanding beyond its Boston home through partnerships with neighboring communities. By presenting exhibitions throughout the region, TAG creates new opportunities for artists while making contemporary art more accessible to broader audiences. Uncharted reflects this mission of fostering cultural exchange, strengthening community connections, and encouraging dialogue through the arts.
