The Art Gallery (TAG) is pleased to present The Alchemy of Art and Science, a group exhibition running from May 2 through June 1, 2025. This show explores the magical intersection of scientific inquiry and artistic expression, where experimentation, curiosity, and transformation are at the core of the creative process.
This exhibition invites viewers to experience art as a space of discovery, where the boundaries between disciplines dissolve and imagination takes the lead. What distinguishes an artist from a scientist? Their process is fluid and subjective, shaped by experimentation and a desire to express something intangible or transformative. Scientists, by contrast, pursue knowledge through observation, analysis, and replication. Their work follows a structured methodology aimed at explaining the physical world through facts, data, and measurable outcomes.
At the core, both artists and scientists are seekers, observers of the invisible, interpreters of complexity, and visionaries who bring the unknown into view. In today’s world, the line between these two roles is more porous than ever, and the richest work often happens where they meet.
