SPEAK UP III: A Juried Exhibition Inviting Artists to Address Today’s Most Pressing Issues

Exhibition Dates: November 1 – 30, 2024

Location: New England Art Center, 450 Harrison Ave #37, SOWA, Boston

The New England Art Center is proud to present Speak Up III, a compelling juried exhibition running from November 1st through November 30th, 2024, at 450 Harrison Ave #37 in Boston’s SOWA district. This event, co-curated by Claudia Fiks and Raquel Fornasaro, invites artists to use their voices and creativity to shine a light on the most pressing social, political, and cultural issues of our time.

Now in its third year, Speak Up continues to serve as a critical platform for artists to engage audiences, foster understanding, and challenge injustices through powerful visual storytelling. The inaugural exhibition in 2020 marked a commitment to providing artists a dedicated space to address urgent themes and engage audiences through meaningful, impactful dialogue. This year’s show features an array of artists from across the region whose works confront current issues and provoke thoughtful reflection.
